Web Quick Search for My Lost Dog/Cat

You do not need to be logged into the App to do this Quick Search

On a Mobile Device or On the Web
  1. Go to www.findingrover.com through either the Google Chrome, Firefox/Mozilla, or Safari browser - Internet Explorer does not support the app at this time
  2. Scroll until you see the Dog and Cat outlines.
  3. Click on the appropriate I Lost A 'Dog/Cat' button
  4. Click on the Orange Dog/Cat Outline Button to navigate to and upload a photo
  5. Manipulate the square so that it is over only the animal's face
  6. Click Next> in the bottom right
Location
  1. Identify the location the animal was lost from by clicking on or touching the Pin to move it
  2. Use the + and / or - zoom controls in the bottom right to see more or less of the map
  3. Click on or touch any part of the map to move it to a different location to view
  4. Click Search in the bottom right

Search
  1. Based on a scan of the photo, Possible Matches posted by other Finding Rover members in the area will display
  2. Remember to scroll down and click on Finding Rover Partner pages in the area to see if they have your dog
  3. Each time a Finding Rover Partner page is accessed another scan is done on your photo that will pull Possible Matches from within that organization

Matchs
  1. Click on the photo of the Possible Match to open the profile

Make Contact
  1. Call the phone number that displays
  2. Click Email to contact through YOUR email service (Outlook, Gmail, etc.)
