Check your email account(s) daily
- Any contact made by the public through Finding Rover and all notifications from Finding Rover will be sent to the email address set up as the username for that account
- If you have more than one location that is open to the public there will be a separate login email address for each
- The email addresses may be real so each will need to be checked separately or they may be new ones to identify the separate locations that filter into one that you are familiar with.
- IE: [email protected] and [email protected] may both be set to filter into [email protected]
- In the case above, only the [email protected] will need to be checked
Check your Updates (notifications) daily
- Click Updates in the left hand menu
- Click on a notification to open / review
- Post adoption events, success stories, donation requests, etc. that will be shared with all of your followers
- Click your organization logo at the top of the left hand menu
- Click New Post to share
OR
- Click Home
- Click the white + in the top right corner
- Enter your text in the large comments box
Please note that once this is posted you cannot edit; make sure everything is as you would like it to be If an error is posted, such as a spelling mistake or the time of the event has changed, the post will need to be deleted and re-entered with the corrections at this time.
To Delete
o Click on the down arrow in the upper right hand corner of the post
o Click Delete
- Click on the Camera to upload a photo
- A photo editor will open if needed
- Click Save (even if nothing was changed)
- Click Done in the top right corner to post
