Partner Basics!
- Your organization is now a Finding Rover Partner
- All public locations will show as a Pack on Finding Rover *Nonpublic locations will be linked to the relative public locations
- Stray in-care dogs can be added to Finding Rover as Found
- Lost dog owners can search the Found dogs in your care using Finding Rover’s Facial Recognition technology
- Staff and volunteers can search Finding Rover for possible owners and create possible matches
- Available in-care dogs can be added to Finding Rover as Adoptable for added exposure
- When dogs exit your care they can be transferred to other Finding Rover Accounts
Team Work!
- Help build your local Finding Rover Community
- Participating departments to spread the word are Adoptions, Customer Service, Volunteers (& Foster), and Community Outreach
- Ask parties that reclaim, adopt or transfer out for a valid email address so that the dogs profile can be transferred to their Finding Rover Account
- Encourage parties that reclaim, adopt and report a lost or found dog to register for FREE on Finding Rover using the same email address you have for them on file
- Encourage parties that transfer out dog to become a Finding Rover Partner for FREE by contacting [email protected] or going to the Partners tab on www.FindingRover.com, make sure to have their primary email address on file
- Staff are encouraged to assist parties when registering ‘on the spot
- Further encourage those that register to
- Add all of their dogs to Finding Rover if they have more at home & add your organization to their Packs page
- Get friends and family members to sign up so they can Share, Post and Interact through Finding Rover
- Participate in the virtual Search Party when they receive notifications of animals in their area that have been reported as lost or found on Finding Rover
- If their dog goes missing, change the dogs profile to Lost to let their local Finding Rover Community know, including your organization
- If they find a dog, create a Found profile to let their local Finding Rover Community know, and possibly the owner
